A semi submarine trip in Hurghada takes about 3 hours and shows you the Red Sea reef without getting wet. Sea Scope Hurghada Excursion Itinerary
- Hotel pickup
Around 8:00, 10:00 or 14:00, whichever slot you book. The exact time comes after booking. The drive to the marina takes 15 to 40 minutes depending on where your hotel is. - Down to the lower deck
You board the yellow Royal Sea Scope and go down to the lower deck, 4 metres below the surface. The boat stays on the water, so nobody has to dive or swim. - One hour at the reef
About an hour watching the coral reef and tropical fish through large side windows, with a seat each and no mask or equipment needed. - Snorkeling stop
After the underwater part, the boat stops in the open sea for 30 to 40 minutes of snorkeling. Mask, fins and life jacket are on board and a guide stays in the water with you. This part is optional. - Return to the hotel
The boat sails back to the marina and a car takes you to your hotel, around 11:30, 13:30 or 17:30 depending on your slot.

Important information
- Hurghada has several semi submarine operators. We work only with the yellow Royal Sea Scope boats, which are newer and have the clearest windows.
- Nobody needs to swim or dive. You stay seated inside the boat for the underwater part.
- The snorkeling stop is optional. You can stay on board if you prefer.
- The trip runs three times a day, so you can book it around another trip.
- Photos and videos are taken by a photographer on board and paid for directly, only if you want them.
