A quad tour in Hurghada takes 3 hours and covers about 50 km of open desert. You ride the quad bike for about 90 minutes in total, with a stop at a Bedouin village for a 10-minute camel ride and Bedouin tea. The quads are automatic and easy to drive, so no licence or experience is needed.

Quad Bike Safari Itinerary
- Hotel pickup
Around 7:30 AM or 2:30 PM. The exact time comes after booking. The drive to the quad base takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on where your hotel is. - Briefing and test drive
At the base the guide shows you how the quad works and you take a short test drive before leaving. The quads are automatic, so there are no gears to change. - 45 minutes to the Bedouin village
You ride about 45 minutes across the open desert, following the guide, to a Bedouin village between the mountains. - Camel ride and tea
A short break in the village with a 10-minute camel ride and a glass of Bedouin tea. - 45 minutes back to the base
Another 45 minutes on the quad across the desert, back to the base. - Return to your hotel
The car takes you back to your hotel, around 11:00 AM or 6:00 PM depending on your tour.

Private quad safari: you can book this tour as a private safari with your own guide for an extra €25 per group. The transfer to and from the base is still shared.
Add Dinner and a Show to Your Quad Tour
On the afternoon tour only, you can add a BBQ dinner and an oriental show at the end of the ride. The tour then lasts 5 hours and you are back at your hotel around 7:30 PM. You need to add this when you book, not on the day.

What to Bring on the Quad Safari
Bring with you:
- Comfortable clothes (long trousers are best)

- A scarf or arafatka against the dust

Important information
- No driving licence is needed.
- The minimum age to drive a quad is 15 years.
- Children from 5 to 14 years ride as passengers only.
- Children under 5 years cannot join the tour.
- The maximum combined weight on one quad is 120 kg.
- If you forget a scarf, you can buy an arafatka at the base for €2–3.
- Dust goggles can be rented or bought at the base for €2–5.
- Photos and videos are taken by a photographer and paid for directly, only if you want them.
